The SGA is at its heart a service organization. Primarily it serves the student body in its main role as interface between
the students of ERAU and the faculty. There are several specific ongoing projects the SGA has set up to tend to the needs of both
the students and the faculty of Embry-Riddle's Prescott campus.
Beverage Service
Free beverages are provided to anyone who enters the SGA Office in the lower hanger. Teas, hot chocolate, tang, Gatorade, water etc. are
all available and free for the taking during all hours the SGA office is open. Hot, fresh brewed coffee is also available every morning
usually even in time for those early risers with 8:00 am classes.
Safe Ride
Every student is entitled to a Safe Ride card available from the SGA. The Safe Ride program allows any student who has signed up and
received their personal Safe Ride card to take a duty-free taxi ride from anywhere in Prescott to the address on their card. This
no-questions-asked service is provided with the goal of allowing all ERAU students a safe option to use as a last resort, should
they find themselves in undesirable circumstances. Students can only have one Safe Ride card, and therefore one destination address.
Forms to signed up for a Safe Ride card can be downloaded from the website, and are also available in the SGA office.
Legal Consult
Once a week the SGA brings a lawyer on campus to offer free legal consultations with students. Whether a student finds themselves in legal
trouble or merely has questions requiring Bar Exam expertise, come to the SGA office to sign up for a specific timeslot to meet with the lawyer.
